multi-disciplinaire expositie met installaties, foto’s, schilderijen, tekeningen en objecten.
’s-hertogenbosch – op verzoek van galeriehouder majke hüsstege, heeft couture kunstenares romy smits haar werk gecombineerd met dat van drie andere kunstenaars die haar aanspreken nl. kunstenaar/ modevormgever bas kosters, fotograaf godewijn daled en beeldend kunstenares nathalie hunter. visualisaties van romy’s emoties worden gecombineerd met bas’ ongeremdheid, de verinnerlijking van godewijn en taboes die nathalie inspireren.
een nadere blik onthult hun inner world: landschappen met het gelaat, interactie, sensuele prikkelingen, subtiele ervaring, fascinaties voor natuur, bewustzijn, passie en het onbekende.

antwerpen – couture kunstenares romy smits nodigt u uit om kennis te maken met de eerste sensual sensory sunday in haar ontmoetingsplek te antwerpen. het thema van deze eerste editie is de zoektocht naar de bron:
… hoe vind je passie en de balans tussen het rationele en het intuitieve en hoe creeer je je eigen wereld waarin je bewust wordt van je eigen verlangen. de zoektocht naar je identiteit en de bron in jezelf. met mijn tentoonstelling the inner world neem ik u mee in mijn zoektocht naar het geluk waar u misschien ook op zoek naar bent…
voor de eerste keer toont romy haar nieuwe collectie inner world bestaande uit grafische fotobeelden met afrikaanse kleuren. daarnaast toont ze de fotocollectie soul of africa die een verbeelding zijn van haar inspiratie en ervaringen opgedaan tijdens haar zoektocht naar haar identiteit. deze beelden zijn gemaakt door wanda tuerlinckx tijdens een gemeenschappelijke reis in het zuiden van marocco.
typische afrikaanse invloeden zijn eveneens terug te vinden in de smaken en aroma’s van een zuid-afrikaanse selectie wijnen uit het assortiment van wijnfavorieten.be die eric pailler en mark lambert voor u presenten.
in de nabije toekomst komen er meer sensual sensory sundays met presentaties over de bewuste keuzes van gepassioneerden die hun levensvisie met u delen. de bedoeling van dit initiatief is niet alleen de zintuigen te prikkelen maar dat u met deze mensen ervaringen kunt uitwisselen. afhankelijk van het thema worden de locatie en vorm aangepast zoals bv. een lezing, een expositie, een workshop, een diner, … in ieder geval iets persoonlijks met een warme touch.
